Personality of Character: Theodore's desire to be alone is quite often mistaken for arrogance. Though he is quite clever, he's not as arrogant as most, and just generally prefers to be left alone. He doesn't feel the need to join cliques, not even when he was in school, something which other's found suspicious but he didn't care much for. While most understood the pecking order of things, Theodore rarely pays attention to that, choosing instead to make his own alliances based on the things he values and is quite quick to judge and dismiss someone.
Character's History: Born to two pure blood parents, Theodore's mother died when he was only three, due to complications in a pregnancy that left him the only son to his father.
As a child, Theodore spent most of his time alone, as his father was quite elderly and only growing older with the passing of each year and while his father couldn't provide him with any interesting play mates, he could provide a wealth of information that Theodore feasted on.
Throughout his Hogwarts years, it was this tendency to remain alone that defined him and even when he and Draco Malfoy became friends, he never followed the other boy. Nor, in his later years, did he follow his father who was a Death Eater. If not for this, perhaps he would have been invited to join the Slug Club, but he had his father to precede him.
Not avidly known as a supporter of Voldemort, he didn't disprove of his methods either, but remained on his own side. It was simply by mistake that he was found on the one time he decided to help the Order of the Phoenix. It was the first and only time he'd ever joined them on a strike against the Death Eaters, and it was this one time that he was captured. That he had never participated before meant nothing, he was seen as a member of the Order and thus sentenced to slavery once the Dark Lord came to power.
Since then, he has been shuttled from home to home, Master to Mistress to Master again and now he's found himself in the cages and preparing for the block again.
